Kilombero North Safaris
WHY YOU SHOULD BOOK KILOMBERO NORTH SAFARIS
FOR YOUR NEXT FISHING TRIP
In the Kilombero Valley, the Mnyera and Ruhudji Rivers offer one of the last remaining freshwater fishing frontiers in the world. Situated deep in the wilds of Tanzania, the Kilombero river system of up to 100kms including 7kms of rapids, is teeming with world record sized 20lb+ Tiger fish.
The 7 night fishing package caters for groups of six people, angler or observer. The pick-up and drop off point is Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Most of the fishing will be done from a 16ft aluminum “Go Devil” boat, which are fitted with 25 – 40hp motors. Each boat carries two anglers, your guide and coxswain.
Your professional guides have all spent extensive time guiding on these rivers, so you can be assured that they know these waters intimately and will ensure you have a productive, safe and enjoyable fishing experience.
All fishing is strictly “catch and release” with single de-barbed hooks. No beat is fished twice in a week and areas where fish are spawning are strictly no go areas.
